Brendan is a founding Partner, responsible for the leadership and strategic vision of Falcon Consulting Group. In addition, he currently manages several key account relationships and oversees the operations component of the business. Brendan has been involved in implementations at nearly 20 healthcare systems and thoroughly enjoys solving complex problems with process improvement and technology. Prior to the inception of Falcon, Brendan worked at Epic, implementing revenue-cycle products at large, integrated health systems. In addition to implementation, Brendan was heavily involved in internal roles, contributing to the advancement of Epic's client-training methodology and advancement of Epic's reporting functionality. Brendan possesses a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland and currently splits time between offices in Miami and Chicago. Brendan is an avid sports enthusiast and is heavily involved in philanthropic organizations assisting in the advancement of healthcare outcomes.
Andrew currently serves as Falcon's VP of Service Delivery. In his role, he works with the leadership team to define and refine Falcon's solution offerings, manage the firm's quality assurance program, and oversee our clients' most complex initiatives. Still active in delivery roles, Andrew recently worked with UCLA Health to create an internal Project Management Office (PMO). He is currently overseeing special projects for the CMIO's office at Presence Health. Andrew came to Falcon from the management consultancy West Monroe Partners, where he served as a subject matter expert in the firm's Healthcare Provider and Private Equity Practices. He began his career at Epic Systems, where he served as Project Director for several large-scale, enterprise-wide implementations. Andrew holds a dual BA in Economics and Spanish from DePauw University and has completed coursework at the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. Outside of work, he can be found marathon training on Chicago's lakefront trail, sweating it out in a yoga studio, or traveling to pursue his various outdoor hobbies, such as kite boarding and snowboarding.
Michael is responsible for business development and strategic recruiting at Falcon. He currently serves as an account manager for many of Falcon’s larger accounts, to ensure successful engagements and client satisfaction. Michael has worked on a variety of revenue-cycle implementation and optimization projects while at Falcon, ranging from small community and academic medical centers to overseeing the business applications team at one of the nation's largest health systems. Prior to the inception of Falcon, Michael worked at Epic, managing complex Revenue Cycle and Ambulatory Application implementations across the country. Michael possesses a bachelors degree in Science with focuses on Molecular Biology and Finance/Economics. He enjoys applying a business mentality to improve the profitability, processes, and outcomes for health systems around the country. He is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan with a passion for playing golf.
Nichole Firmani is Falcon's Director of Operations. In this role, she maintains Falcon's internal operations, including payroll, human resources, accounts payable and accounts receivable. She honed her communication and organizational skills while working as a Member Services Representative for a credit union, interning at MIT's financial aid office, and teaching for several years at the elementary school level. Nichole earned her Bachelor's Degree in American Studies at Endicott College, and her Master's in Elementary Education at Salem State University. Nichole enjoys spending time with her children, reading, and watching home design shows.
Steve Weichhand is the Director of Inpatient Applications with Falcon Consulting Group. He is responsible for managing and growing the Inpatient, Inpatient Ancillary, and Clinical Optimization service lines and managing numerous internal projects. Steve is still active in client delivery, recently as the architect for a clinical documentation improvement project at a large integrated delivery network in Southern California. Steve entered the healthcare IT industry at Epic Systems and holds certifications in ten Epic applications. At Epic, he served on the implementation team as a project manager for several high profile implementations. Prior to joining Falcon, Steve worked at PatientKeeper, where he specialized in physician charge capture and handheld solutions. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Michigan. Outside of work, Steve enjoys boating, snowmobiling in northern Michigan, and hopes to one day complete all six world major marathons.
Margo L. Krusac is responsible for managing the ambulatory implementation and clinical optimization service lines. Margo is still active in client delivery, recently as the lead for an ambulatory improvement project at a large academic health care network in Connecticut. Margo entered the healthcare IT industry in 2001 and holds five certifications in Epic applications. Throughout her career, she has served on implementation teams as project lead for several high profile implementations. Prior to joining healthcare IT, Margo worked at Fairview Health Services, where she specialized in building and growing the enterprise-wide occupational health program. Margo earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Northern Michigan University and a Masters of Public Health from the University of Minnesota.
